Laser Therapy

How it works

Information

The goal of deep tissue laser therapy is to deliver light energy units from infrared laser radiation, called photons, to damaged cells in the body. It is the consensus of experts that photons absorbed by the cells through laser therapy stimulate, at a cellular level, the mitochondria to accelerate the production of ATP. This upregulation in the production of ATP is used to transform tissue from a state of illness to a stable and healthy state. Over 4000 studies have been conducted in recent years to validate the effectiveness of class IV laser therapy.

Class IV lasers offer a non-invasive alternative to acupuncture and surgery. This modality also provides a non-addicting treatment that eliminates the complications of long-term drug treatment programs. Deep tissue laser therapy relieves pain and inflammation associated with:

Acute & Chronic pain

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

Ligament Sprains

Muscle Strains

Soft Tissue Injuries

Tendonitis & Tendonosis

Arthritis

Tennis Elbow

Neck & Low Back Pain

Disc Injuries
