Physical Therapy Aide
Kyle was born and raised in Hercules, California. In 2017, he transferred to Cal State Long Beach, and is now majoring in Kinesiology: Exercise Science and minoring in Spanish. After earning his bachelor degree, Kyle intends to earn a doctorate in physical therapy.
In middle and high school Kyle played competitive soccer and basketball. It was ultimately a knee injury requiring surgery that caused him to miss lots of time in sports and spend lots of time in physical therapy clinics. It was this experience that introduced him to physical therapy, and how he became passionate about helping others through rehabilitation, training, and personal fitness.
In addition to being a full-time student, Kyle participates in the BOSS mentorship program where he speaks to and mentors middle school and high school athletes. Through this program Kyle encourages kids to explore career paths beyond a professional athlete and pursue academic excellence.
When Kyle has free time from school and work, he enjoys weight lifting and watching sports with friends and family.
