Heather Rogers, PT Physical Therapist

My career journey began after experiencing a dance injury in high school; physiotherapy helped me successfully return to competition and showed me what truly matters in recovery, sparking a passion for helping others return to what they love.

Southern California native. SDSU Kinesiology degree, Dance minor. Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of Saint Augustine. Pilates certified. I combine evidence-based treatment with manual therapy and functional movement, using my dance & Pilates background for specialized core training to ensure successful outcomes.

I’ve spent the last several years at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, getting Marines and Navy service members back to peak performance. Before that, I worked for a decade across nearly every healthcare setting, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted and independent living communities, orthopedic outpatient and sports medicine practices.

At Camp Pendleton, I had full clinical autonomy, ordering imaging, coordinating with surgeons and specialists, clearing service members for FFD (fit for full duty). When you’re responsible for getting Marines combat-ready, managing cases from initial evaluation through successful return to active service, I learned what real accountability means.

My practice spans competitive athletes and aging adults because peak performance isn’t just for the young. Whether you’re training for a marathon or trying to garden without pain, every patient of mine, receives the same thorough, personalized care.

Outside the clinic, I practice what I preach. I work with my own trainer and enjoy regular Pilates sessions on my home reformer. I recently moved to Orange County to be with my boyfriend, and when I'm not staying active, I enjoy reading and spending quality time with the people I care about most.
