Physical Therapy Aide
Emma grew up in Irvine, California where she has been a competitive dancer for the past 10 years. She currently dances at PAVE School of the Arts in the INNOV8 Industry Company. At PAVE, Emma is also part of 8 Crew, a program designed to teach dancers both the business and scientific aspects of running a dance studio. After suffering a significant knee injury in 6th grade, Emma fell in love with the rehabilitation process and knew that Physical Therapy was the career she wanted to pursue.
Emma is currently a senior at Woodbridge High School, where she is on Senior Class Council and participates in several clubs on campus. During the past 3 summers, Emma has been a camp counselor for the Woodbridge Village Association and has been a teacher’s aide at her Temple’s Sunday school for the past 5 years. In addition, she has been shadowing the Physical Therapists at Core Performance for the past several months, and now works as a Physical Therapy Aide.
In the Fall of 2019, Emma will be applying to universities looking to major in Athletic Training and/or Kinesiology. When Emma is not dancing, she enjoys hanging out with friends, family, and her dog Larry.
