Physical Therapy Aide
Blessa was born and raised in the city of Carson, California. She is currently in her second year attending UCI to acquire her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and she is looking into pursuing a career in physical therapy or becoming a
physician assistant.
She has been playing basketball for about 11 years, playing in high school and also on travel ball teams. She currently plays intramural basketball at UCI for two of her organizations, AED, a pre-health honor society, and PUSO, a Filipino pre-health club.
In her free time, she likes to weight lift, go to the beach, cook, and watch cat videos. She believes it is rewarding to assist in someone’s journey of recovering and making their daily lives easier. While identifying where the body is weak and recovering without any antibiotics really stimulates her interest in the strengths of both physical and mental health. Blessa is extremely inspired to work with so many motivated and like-minded people.
