Allyssa Salgado

Physical Therapy Aide

Allyssa was born and raised in Anaheim, CA, where she grew up playing softball competitively. From middle school to high school she participated in travel ball where she was able to travel and play softball all year long.

Allyssa fell in love with the sport environment and knew in her heart that she wanted to become involved in sports therapy and rehabilitation. She is currently studying at California State University, Fullerton and is majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Clinical Movement Science in hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist. She plans on applying to California State University, Long Beach to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. She is very appreciative of the opportunity given to her at Core where she is gaining hands on experience and is building meaningful relationships with a great team at Core.

During her free time, Allyssa loves to spend her time outdoors. She enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, exercising, and spending time with her friends and family. Allyssa has hiked Angels Landing and is planning to go back to Utah to hike The Narrows. Every winter season she travels to a new location to go snowboarding with her friends.
