Rimsha Memon, PT, DPT Physical Therapist

Dr. Rimsha Memon is a Pakistani American physical therapist born and raised in Southern California. She began her academic journey at community college, where she earned associate degrees in Chemistry and Biology before transferring to California State University, Long Beach to complete her Bachelor of Science in Biology. After working as a physical therapy aide at a clinic in Huntington Beach during a gap year, Dr. Rimsha discovered her passion for the field and went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from University of Southern California.

Through her clinical rotations, Dr. Rimsha gained experience treating a variety of patient populations including orthopedic, neurologic, sports related, balance, and post operative conditions. These experiences helped develop her strong interest in sports rehabilitation and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy.

Dr. Rimsha’s passion for physical therapy is also personal. After being diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome at a young age and initially doubting the effectiveness of physical therapy, she later discovered the true impact of the profession while working in a clinic. This experience ultimately inspired her to pursue a career helping others regain movement and confidence. Growing up, she enjoyed playing softball and tennis, which further shaped her appreciation for movement and injury recovery.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Rimsha enjoys staying active at the gym, hiking, baking, and exploring new coffee shops and bakeries. She also loves traveling and has had some of her most memorable experiences through solo travel. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends, relaxing, and finding the next great cup of coffee or sweet treat.
