Physical Therapy Aide
Denise, born and raised in Fountain Valley, CA. She is currently an undergraduate attending California State University, Fullerton majoring in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. The youngest of 4, she grew up playing many different sports alongside her siblings who are also CSUF Kinesiology alumni. In high school, Denise played basketball for one year and then found her passion for the game of volleyball where she played as an outside hitter and opposite hitter for the next 3 years. During her time in the sport, she found herself regularly spraining her ankle and decided to go to physical therapy where her interest in anatomy and the different movements that the human body can part-take in blossomed.
At an early age, she knew she wanted to give back and help others. She took on the role as a Registered Behavioral Technician in applied behavioral analysis working with pediatrics in early intervention.
When Denise is not at school or work, you can catch her outside snowboarding, surfing, hiking, or even just soaking in the sun at your nearby beach!
