Megan Catey

Physical Therapy Aide

Megan was born in Seattle, Washington where she grew up being very involved in sports, especially soccer, gymnastics, and dance.  In high school she became more competitive in gymnastics and dance, and her various injuries from these sports spiked an interest in the field of Physical Therapy.  Her passion to help others and listen to their stories also contributes to her love for the PT field.
Megan moved to Southern California in 2017 to attend Biola University, where she is pursuing a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in pre-physical therapy.  She plans to attend PT school following her graduation from Biola in 2021, and is looking forward to her future career as a PT.
Megan is excited about her opportunity to work as a Physical Therapy Aide at Core Performance.  Watching patients grow and progress inspires her to continue to passionately pursue Physical Therapy, and knows her time at Core Performance will provide her with more knowledge and experience within the field.
In her free time she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her friends and family, and staying active by exercising, hiking, or playing spikeball.
