Marisa was born and raised in San Diego, CA. She has always had a passion for sports and staying active while growing up, playing softball and field hockey, also interning as an athletic training assistant through out high school. She continued softball into college at a university in Illinois and transferred back to California to Chapman University. She is currently majoring in Health Science with a pre-PA emphasis and looking toward working in sports medicine in the future.
Her current hobbies consist of staying active by weight lifting and running. She also loves going to the beach and surfing. She enjoys doing volunteer work such as going on a medical brigade to the Philippines. She was providing health care for those in need, which increased her passion for health and patient care. She looks forward to traveling and doing more medical brigades in the near future.
