Dr. Kevin Hartsough, DPT

Physical Therapist

Kevin graduated with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary’s University in 2018. During his clinical rotations he was able to gain experience in both the hospital and various outpatient settings. After each outpatient rotation his passion for the field grew and he knew he wanted to pursue a position in an outpatient physical therapy clinic after graduation. He continues to work on taking further coursework in the realms of manual therapy and movement assessment to improve his ability to effectively evaluate and treat patients of all ages, backgrounds and injuries.

Kevin bases his treatments around the utilization of movement assessments to locate movement and musculoskeletal impairments, address the necessary faults and rebuild the movement mechanics via motor control and neuromuscular re-education techniques.

Kevin grew up in Southern California. He got introduced to physical therapy through multiple sports induced injuries to his low back, knees and ankles. He began his collegiate career at Whittier College where he majored in Kinesiology Pre-Physical Therapy and was a 4-year college soccer player. After graduating he began working at various outpatient physical therapy clinics where his passion for the rehabilitative field grew. After working with various patients and seeing the level of compassion, care and change a physical therapist could make in an individual’s life, he knew a career in Physical Therapy was the right decision for him.

Kevin pursued his Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree at Mount Saint Mary’s University in downtown Los Angeles. He also has first hand experience as a physical therapy patient, undergoing L4/L5 microdiscectomy surgery in the winter of 2016.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing soccer, golfing, weight lifting, playing with his dog and spending time with family and friends.
