Physical Therapy Aide

Rys was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania.  She grew up playing sports, focusing on softball and soccer.  She was also a dancer at the Ballet Theatre of Scranton.  Upon graduating high school, Rys moved to Orlando, Florida to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Central Florida.  During her years in Florida, she volunteered at various inpatient and outpatient physical therapy clinics.
In 2017, Rys moved across the country again to Southern California with everything that could fit into her car, including her dog named Rocket.  Since moving to California, she has been working hard in order to apply to a Doctor of Physical Therapy program in the near future.  Rys has also adopted another dog named Kona into her family and enjoys taking them to trivia nights at her local brewery every week.  She is an avid reader of thriller and mystery novels, and has a passion for cooking clean and healthy foods for herself and her family.
Rys leads an active lifestyle by regularly working out and getting involved in community sports leagues when she has time.  She loves escape rooms and amusement parks, but also enjoys relaxing on the couch with her family.  She is grateful to be a part of the Core Performance team and looks forward to her future in field of physical therapy.
