Jessica was born and raised in Huntington Beach, California and currently resides there. Growing up as a competitive swimmer, she developed a love for physical activity and movement that has only continued to grow. She recently graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a BS in Kinesiology and plans to finish up her prerequisite classes while applying to Physical Therapy school. Human movement has always been an interest of Jessica’s but after suffering a knee injury she developed a deeper interest and passion for the rehabilitation side of body mechanics. Her own rehabilitation process inspired her and validated her passion for rehab and pursuance of a career in physical therapy. Aside from her studies, Jessica is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-250) and received her training through CorePower Yoga. She enjoys working with CPY for its focus on core activation and support for dynamic movement and believes that yoga can play an integral part in injury prevention and recovery. She is also a Restorative Yoga Teacher as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She has recently been accepted at Chapman University to begin her schooling to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys staying active, hiking, cooking, traveling, and hanging out with her favorite pup, a German shepherd named Kira.
