Born in Los Angeles and raised in Malibu, Michael then spent several years in multiple countries before returning to the United States to complete his didactic education and becoming a licensed physical therapist in 2016. As an alumnus and Warren Trust Fund Scholarship recipient of the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Loma Linda University, Michael is a strong advocate in maximizing potential and integrating a holistic approach to rehabilitation. His fascination with human anatomy and its response to trauma stemmed from a longstanding passion in the art of kinesiology. Heavy involvement in team sports at a young age introduced him to the world of injuries and rehabilitation, which he faced personally with an unrelenting curiosity.
Michael draws inspiration from many pioneers who paved the way for the field of physical therapy, with his treatment approach involving re-visitation of developmental milestone mastery that may have been lost through injury or trauma. Optimization of physiological movement is paramount for the complete return to function. In addition to lifeguard training and 10 years of personal training experience, he is constantly seeking to add to his learning experiences and enrich the lives of others. On his free time you can find him catching waves, climbing rocks, and exploring his creative side with photography and literature.
