Diana grew up in the scenic wine country of Livermore, CA, which is where she first fell in love with running. In college, Diana ran track and cross country while pursuing her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering. After college, Diana worked as an engineer in the medical device industry but soon felt that her work would have a greater impact if she was interacting one-on-one with patients. Her passion for physical therapy stemmed from her time recovering from a chronic running injury as well as her interest in running biomechanics. Diana’s confidence to succeed as a therapist herself came from engaging in technical conversations about her injury with her physical therapist throughout the course of her treatment. She will be applying for Doctor of Physical Therapy programs this fall.
Diana spends most of her free time running, swimming, biking, and lifting weights. Outside of sports, she also enjoys doing jigsaw puzzles, reading, watching Netflix with her husband, Sean, and chasing her two cats, Olive and Arthur, around the house.
