Born in Los Angeles, California but quickly moved to Fullerton in Orange County. Wrestled in high school and continue to use the disciplines gained from that experience to encourage others to lead a healthy lifestyle. Initial interest in Physical therapy began with taking a Techniques of Physical fitness course where the biomechanics and importance of proper posture, movement, alignment, and positioning sparked an interest in studying kinesiology which soon translated into becoming a PT or, ‘movement specialist’. Graduated from California State University Long Beach with a B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science. Was able to study abroad twice in Ireland and South Korea where I experienced two vastly different cultures that helped to develop a more thoughtful approach to patient care. Currently recreational activities include: rock climbing, hiking, surfing, weightlifting, camping, traveling and searching for awesome craft beers. Future goals are to become a physical therapist. Also a volunteer at UCI Medical Center in their Acute Rehab Department. Within the process of obtaining CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification and applying to physical therapy schools.
